Phasmophobia Holiday Event 2023 Guide: How to Start and Complete the Winter Event

When you enter the lobby at the main menu and take a look at the board, you’ll see the gist of what we’re to do during the course of the event. While the notes on it are rather short, actually taking part will take at least a couple of hours. The basic steps of the Phasmophobia Holiday Event in 2023 are as follows:

  • Collect the Mysterious Parts in the Sunny Meadows map. This will automatically craft a snowball gun for you once you’ve gotten all three parts.
  • Seek out and shoot the snowmen found on seven maps. All of the maps are houses, so you don’t have to worry about trudging through the Prison or going back into Sunny Meadows.
  • You automatically receive your rewards after collecting all the snowmen.

Step 1: Collecting the Mysterious Parts

Collecting the Mysterious Parts for the Christmas Event only has to be done once. The snowball gun will persist across all seven of the maps included in the event listing. It only takes about five to 10 minutes to complete the Mysterious Parts portion if you follow our guide to their locations. We’ve mapped out an easy route to get in and out of this particularly ominous building.

Step 2: Hunt and Shoot the Dancing Snowman

This is the part of the Holiday Event that takes time. There are 277 dancing snowmen scattered across seven different houses. Luckily, they’re in static locations, so you’ll be able to follow guides through each of them to find all the snowmen. Once you find all the snowmen on a map, a hunt with a seasonal ghost will start. You’ll get credit for completing the event on that map even if you die during this hunt.

We have guides on all the snowmen locations for the Christmas Event. 13 Willow Street and Camp Woodwind both have 34 dancing snowmen to find. 6 Tanglewood Drive has 36 snowmen. 42 Edgefield Road and 10 Ridgeview Court both have 36 snowmen locations each to shoot. Bleasdale Farmhouse has 42 to find and shoot, and Grafton Farmhouse has 55 snowmen to look out for.

Step 3: Collect Your Rewards

Once you’ve found all the snowmen, you’ll automatically receive your rewards in the lobby. There are two Holiday Event rewards:

  • A special ID Badge.
  • A unique trophy.

You can check out what the rewards look like here. You can change your ID Badge using the board, and the trophy will automatically be added to your trophy case.

And that’s what you need to know about how to complete the Phasmophobia Holiday Event 2023. Check out the plethora of guides we have covering each aspect of the event and our other Phasmo guides here on GameSkinny.
