Starfield: How to Find the Starborn Trader

New game plus in Starfield allows you to access a variety of Starborn bonuses, one of them being the Starborn Trader. A merchant who offers high-powered weapons and unique items, she’s forgone trying to make it to Unity. Locating her, however, can prove difficult. Here’s how to find the Starborn Trader in Starfield.

How to Find the Starborn Trader

When you finally come across the Starborn Trader, she won’t be labeled as such. Instead, her ship will be labeled Mysterious Captain, and she’ll speak cryptically at first. Once she divulges that she’s Starborn, you’ll have a conversation about her choosing the hedonistic and business-oriented life, instead of fighting for the Artifacts. She reveals her name is The Trader, and her ship title will update to reflect that.

As soon as the Starborn Trader is located, you want to make note of the system she’s in. She’ll remain in that system for you to visit and purchase items from as long as you don’t head back through the Unity. Once you do that, you’ll be in a new time and have to find her all over again.

Starborn Trader Inventory

The Trader has a wide range of items, often including rare and epic weapons. She even has a few Legendaries. Her inventory, like her location, is randomized. If you’re looking for specific items, saving your game before you Grav Jump is a good idea. That way, you can load the save and hope her selection changes when you encounter her again.
