The TAQ Eradicator is a beast of an LMG, boasting a massive rate of fire that slows down the longer you shoot, improving accuracy in the process. In this guide, I’ll break down the best TAQ Eradicator loadout and class build in CoD: Modern Warfare 3.
CoD MW3: Best TAQ Eradicator Loadout and Class Build
How to Get the TAQ Eradicator
The TAQ Eradicator light machinegun doesn’t become available until you reach player Level 25. Once you cross that threshold, do the following:
- Go to the “Armory Unlock Challenges” menu.
- Check the list for specific challenges for TAQ Eradicator.
- Complete five of the challenges that belong to the TAQ Eradicator class.
Best Class Setup for TAQ Eradicator
- Secondary Weapon: Rival-9 SMG.
- Vest: CCT Comms Vest.
- Gloves: Scavenger Gloves.
- Boots: Covert Sneakers.
- Camo: Ghost T/V Camo.
- Best Perks: Assassin, Quickdraw, Steady Aim.
- Equipment: Bone Conduction Headset.
The TAQ Eradicator class setup requires gear that will allow you to detect the positions of your enemies as precisely as possible. That’s why I highly recommend equipping the CCT Comms Vest, which provides an extended radar detectability and powerful zoom-in. The Scavenger Gloves will let you quickly resupply your ammo from dead players, and the Covert Sneakers will silence your footsteps.
One of the most important pieces of equipment that I could recommend for the TAQ Eradicator class setup is the Bone Conduction Headset. This item will reduce the noise from combat but enhance the sound of the enemy’s footsteps. This provides a huge advantage on any map, giving you a clearer picture of where your enemies might be hiding.
Best Attachments for TAQ Eradicator
- Muzzle: Shadowstrike Suppressor.
- Barrel: Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip.
- Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop.
- Optic: MK. 3 Optic.
- Stock: Tactique Brute Stock.
- Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Rear Grip.
The TAQ Eradicator has a very bright and noticeable muzzle flash. That’s why you absolutely need the Shadowstrike Suppressor attachment, which hides the flash from the enemy’s sight. Additionally, it provides better accuracy when firing, although not by much.
If we’re talking about enhancing accuracy, then opt for the Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip, which not only reduces the massive recoil of the TAQ Eradicator but also provides a more stable grip when using its rapid-fire mode. Alternatively, you could use the XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop, which improves your mobility and aim-down sights (ADS).
If you choose to use the Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip, then I’d go for the Tactique Brute Stock as my stock attachment, as it compensates the weapon sway when aiming down sights (ADS). You’ll notice just how much easier it is to stay locked on the target with such a heavy weapon as the TAQ Eradicator when using this attachment combo.
Players who have a very frantic playstyle and wish to improve their transition from moving to shooting and increase their sprint-to-fire speed will also need the Demo Cleanshot Rear Grip. This is a perfect solution for the TAQ Eradicator when it comes to combining both quick aiming and maneuverability.
