YouTube is one of the best places to look out for new and exciting MC mods. In my guide, I list the top 10 best Minecraft mods YouTubers use to make the game better, ranging from improved mobs and bosses to amazing gadgets and high-concept adventures.
Minecraft: Top 10 Best Mods from YouTubers List
Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod
One of the biggest Minecraft YouTubers with over five million subscribers, known as BeckBroJack, had a huge success with the showcase of Cracker’s Wither Storm mod. This mod adds a new and improved variant of the Wither enemy to the game. During my time with this mod, I had the opportunity to witness an evolved mob that constantly grows in size and has the ability to track down players. If you’re looking for a harder challenge in your survival world, this is the mod I recommend.
Mob Armor Mod V3
EYstreem is one of the most popular Minecraft players in the world. His YouTube channel has almost nine million subscribers, and his mod selections are always great. My personal favorite mod showcased on his channel is the Mob Armor Mod V3. While improvising with this mod, I learned that it allows you to wear mob armor of various types and actually gives you the powers of these mobs. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cooler concept than this one.
Building Gadgets Mod
Although direwolf20 doesn’t have as many subscribers as the YouTubers that I mentioned above, his Minecraft mod videos are always enjoyable. In one of his more popular recent videos, he showcased the Building Gadgets mod, which adds a whole set of useful building gadgets to the game. As an avid Minecraft player myself, I found that these various tools and types of blocks make the entire building process so much more fun and interactive.
Fisk’s Superheroes Mod
Here’s one of the most entertaining mods from TheAtlanticCraft on YouTube. The Fisk’s Superheroes mod introduces 65 different superhero costumes with over 90 types of various superpowers. What I like about this mod is that it introduces a brand-new crafting system for all the costumes, so it adds a layer of challenge to getting them. I think it’s a good thing, which makes the gameplay much more fun.
Create Mod
Who doesn’t love watching the Mumbo Jumbo channel? In one of their videos, I discovered a Minecraft Create mod that completely fascinated me. It allows you to create your own conveyor belts, mechanical cogs, and robot arms. All these are fully functional and look amazing! With the help of this mod, I can craft piston doors, automatic redstone farms, automatic block placers, and so much more without any limitations.
Fresh Animations Mod
I didn’t expect the Phoenix SC channel, infamous for showing controversial mods, to showcase such a bright and happy mod as Fresh Animations. But I’m glad they did, as this resource pack introduces a whole set of improved animations to all aspects of Minecraft. As a survival player, I gained an insight into this mod’s dynamic and realistic environment, which manages to add so much to my gameplay experience.
Sophisticated Backpacks Mod
Don’t you always find it frustrating to limit the number of items that you carry in Minecraft? Well, those times are done, as the Sophisticated Backpacks mod gives you a whole new set of possibilities when it comes to carrying lots of stuff around. I first saw this mod showcased in LemonskyRyan’s video, which immediately got my attention. The best part about this mod is that it allows you to modify your own backpacks and their sizes.
Sophisticated Storage Mod
Here’s another one from LemonskyRyan that I highly recommend. The Sophisticated Storage mod gives you similar advantages to the backpacks from before but adds a whole set of storage containers for your base. Through my experiences, I realized that all these crates can fit so much more than my typical chests, including filter options, upgrade slots, range, etc.
The Perfect Medieval Pack Mod
Have you ever wondered if it was possible to play Minecraft in medieval times? Well, the Perfect Medieval Pack mod allows for such a luxury. I discovered it on Sneak’s YouTube channel, where he shows all the best parts of this cool mod. Here, you can equip period armor, generate special medieval structures, and fight new mini-bosses.
Bliss Mod
For the final mod on my list, I selected another one from direwolf20’s channel. But this time, it’s the Bliss mod, which introduces a very peaceful experience to your Minecraft gameplay sessions. In this mod, you’ll be surrounded by soothing ambient sounds, a tranquil soundtrack, and eye-pleasing shaders. All these are custom-made for your blissful Minecraft experience!
