  • 4 Monastery Swiftspear
  • 4 Blood Crypt
  • 2 Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer

  • 1 Wooded Foothills
  • 4 Polluted Delta
  • 1 Swamp
  • 2 Mountain
  • 4 Play with Fire
  • 1 Sulfurous Springs

Rakdos Lurrus still remains the most powerful MtG deck with its tough and aggressive combination of Lurrus of the Dream-Den’s recursion powers. The chaotic strength of the Rakdos creatures helps. I suggest concentrating on your creature aggression and employing graveyard recursion to keep up a constant flow of threats.

The Mono Black archetype has always been extremely flexible, focusing on control spells to gain the upper hand on the battlefield. But this deck also uses strong creatures, spells, and enchantments to drain the opponent’s life, which is my personal favorite way of dominating the battlefield. This particular decklist is very good at disruption, removal, and card advantage.

The intelligence of blue and red spells and the devastating power of black creatures make a solid base for another great Lurrus deck. This list focuses on producing disruption and card advantage with Lurrus of the Dream-Den’s assistance, all while using graveyard recursion to keep a full board presence.

Mono Green Decklist

  • 1 Radiant Fountain
  • 4 Sunken Citadel
  • 2 Windswept Heath
  • 1 Forest

Mono Green decks have always used the highly efficient combo of the Natural Order and Primeval Titan cards. That’s why this deck’s so good at mana ramping, deploying large creatures, and using strong spells and abilities to increase your power in the arena.

Jund Decklist

  • 1 Castle Locthwain
  • 1 Demonic Tutor
  • 1 Den of the Bugbear
  • 4 Bloodbraid Elf
  • 1 Soul-Guide Lantern
  • 1 Kolaghan’s Command

If I remember correctly, Jund isn’t just one of the oldest archetypes in MtG, but it’s also one of the strongest because it combines the power of red, green, and black spells. Use green spells to ramp, red spells to attack, and black spells to remove threats. This combo will almost never let you down!

Mono Red Decklist

Monsatery Swiftspear and Blood Moon cards from MtG

  • 4 Searing Blood
  • 4 Skewer the Critics
  • 4 Light Up the Stage
  • 4 Blood Moon
  • 4 Ramunap Ruins

If you want to have fun with a fierce, fast-moving deck that depends heavily on direct damage and swift creature attacks, then Mono Red is a solid choice. Don’t overthink your strategy. Simply reduce your opponent’s life total as quickly as possible with all the burn spells, fast creatures, and other red spells in your library.

  • 4 Mishra’s Bauble
  • 2 Lightning Bolt
  • 1 Finale of Promise
  • 1 Wooded Foothills

The Izzet archetype is a spell-slinging powerhouse of a deck that utilizes lightning bolts, counterspells, and multitudes of card draws. But most importantly, you get to replay your Arclight Phoenix over and over again by casting more spells.

Five Color Jegantha Decklist

  • 4 Territorial Kavu
  • 4 Tribal Flames

  • 1 Zagoth Triome

Jegantha’s special powers allow us MtG players to create highly adaptable and varied decks. You can cast various spells with it and summon powerful creatures regardless of their colors. Of course, it’s not as fast as the other decklists I mentioned above, but if you enjoy patient and highly strategic gameplay, you’ll love it.

Sultai Jegantha Decklist

  • 1 Uro, Titan of Nature’s Wrath
  • 1 Island
  • 4 Mishra’s Bauble

  • 3 Flooded Strand
  • 4 Polluted Delta
  • 2 Watery Grave
  • 2 Overgrown Tomb
  • 1 Boseiju, Who Endures
  • 1 Drown in the Loch

On the other hand, if the five-color variant does seem a bit too slow for your taste but you love fast ramps, then opt for the Sultai version instead. It has a much faster playstyle, and you should be able to quickly deploy all your creatures and planeswalkers on board.

Dimir Decklist

Image via Wizards of the Coast

  • 2 Island
  • 2 Swamp
  • 2 Flooded Strand
  • 4 Polluted Delta
  • 2 Bloodstained Mire
  • 4 Darkslick Shores
  • 2 Watery Grave

It’s not easy to master the Dimir deck, but once you learn to disrupt your opponent’s plans by taking their resources and plunging into self-mill tactics, it’ll be a blast. Although, I must warn you that graveyard hate may easily disrupt your own plans of winning, so be careful.
