If you’re looking to get into V Rising but don’t want to deal with other players, you’ll want to make a solo server. There you can build your castle without fear of PvP, attack as many bandits as you please and take a nap in peace. Not sure how to make server to play alone? Here’s all you need to know to get your solo server in V Rising started.
How to Make a Solo Server in V Rising
Making a solo server is a relatively simple process once you know where to get started.
- Select Play to head to the server selection screen.
- Choose Private Server.
- In the private server settings, check Only Solo Play, which will reduce the Max Concurrent Players to 1.
- Start a new game.
Voila! Your solo server has been created. The waiting period to actually get in game can take a bit as the server is fully fleshed out with wolves, rats and humans, but once you’re in, it’ll be all yours. You can also use the server settings screen to set different rulesets for your world. Each time you load into the game you’ll be able to continue on your vampiric solo adventure.
If you’re wondering if you need to buy a server in order to play alone, the answer is no. You won’t need to buy a server to play by yourself on a solo server as it is hosted by V Rising and Stunlock Studios. If you want to buy a server, you can, but it’s not necessary.
That’s all you need to know on making a solo server in V Rising. Enjoy vampire life in sweet solitude. If you’re struggling with other aspects of the game, check out our other V Rising guides.
