Wartales: How to Get Rimesteel

Rimesteel is a component in Wartales used to craft the finest weapons, but it can be a bit of a pain to line your pockets with. You’re going to need it, so here’s how to get Rimesteel in Wartales.  

How to Get Rimesteel 

Rimesteel is a component used in Blacksmithing. Like Coal, it needs to be made or purchased from a merchant. The blueprint for Rimesteel automatically becomes available to unlock once you have a companion leveled up to Experienced in Alchemy.

Use a Knowledge Point to unlock Rimesteel and you’ll see that you need a couple things to craft it:

• Grey Cluster x1
• Alazarian Powder x1

The hardest part of crafting Rimesteel is locating Grey Clusters. There are a couple ways to source this material: 

• Some merchants will have it for sale, especially Gold Caravan merchants.
• Randomly find it in the wild.
• Mine Iron Ore with an Experienced or higher Miner to possibly obtain it.
• Mine it near the Arthes Tomb of the Ancients.

Once you have the ingredients for Rimesteel, head to an Apothecary to craft it. You’ll then have bars of Rimesteel to take to the Forge to craft new weapons with. 

If you don’t want to deal with finding the components for Rimesteel, or your Alchemist has died, you can find some crafted Rimesteel bars at the Gosenberg Apothecary. This is a limited supply, as you’ll need to wait until the shops reset in order to purchase more bars. If you only need to craft one or two items, however, this may be an easier route than hunting down Grey Clusters.
