While Jasper, Onyx, and Tiger’s Eye sell for 800 to 900 in shops, there are actually locations where you can sell them for a lot more and even use them for enhancement. Each of these precious stones tells you its secret selling location in the description, where you can sell them for drastically better prices. Furthermore, some also have alternative uses like enhancement or gifting. Here are the uses for each stone:

  • Jasper (Battahl): While its selling price says 800 gold, it actually sells for 2800G in Battahl. It also grants 50 favor when sold to an NPC who likes Expensive Things. You can check what NPCs like by going to History > NPCs. Raising favor can provide discounts, new quests, and the trophy for gaining favor with 50 NPCs.
  • Onyx (Vermund): You can sell this for a higher price in Vernworth or any Vermund merchant. Furthermore, besides boosting favor like Jasper, you also use this in enhancing. For example, the Level 3 Vermundian enhancement for the Cutlass requires 2 Minotaur Horns and 1 Onyx.
  • Tiger’s Eye (Elves): While its selling price says 900, you can sell it for 2700 gold to elves like Eldart or Grisha in the Sacred Arbor in Vermund. Elven NPCs who like Expensive Things will also grant you much more favor if given this item.

So, in short, what are Jasper, Onyx, and Tiger’s Eye for in Dragon’s Dogma 2? You can sell them for drastically higher prices in regions that are in each stone’s description. Some are used in enhancements as well. For more Dragon’s Dogma 2 guides, check out how to get all maister skills and Wyrmslife crystals for Wyrmfire gear.
