In the last set of Fortnite weekly quests, we had to take a spin in one of the boss cars and drive over water with Nitro. However, if you’re looking to see what crazy quests you’ll have to complete for week 3, you’ll have to wait just a bit longer. Here’s why the quests aren’t showing up.
Why Are The Fortnite Week 3 Quests Missing? Explained
The Fortnite Weekly quests are released at the same time every week — Tuesday mornings at 9 am EST. So, booting up your game today and noticing their absence was probably a bit shocking (it was for me). Don’t worry. We’re still getting them, but we’ll just have to wait a bit longer.
The Epic Games team actually took to Twitter yesterday, although on their Fortnite Status account rather than their main one. They announced the quests will be delayed to release with their big v30.10 game update instead.
That means we’ll have to wait until Thursday, June 13, at 9 am EST instead to start completing these challenges. Thankfully, with it releasing with this bigger update, we’ll also get plenty of other great new additions to the game at the same time.
Part of that update will include a new collab featuring new weapons, skins, and more. Rumors say that one collaboration coming this Thursday will be Metallica, which will feature in the Fortnite Festival. However, players are also expecting another Marvel collab or Pirates of the Caribbean collab for Battle Royale and Zero Build modes, which will definitely shake up the Wastelands.
Along with new features, the team is working hard to fix any bugs and problems that players have come across this season. They are taking away those annoying Boogie Bombs again (thank god), re-enabling PostParty, the Victory Umbrella will finally be given out, and so much more. We’ll be able to see it all for ourselves very soon, on Thursday morning!
