Plastic will be one of those things you’ll want to have plenty of during the Spring Cleaning Challenge in Fallout 76. Luckily for you, we’ve got all the tips that you’ll need to find this precious material. Keep reading to find out how to find Plastic in Fallout 76.
How to Scrap Junk to Create Plastic in Fallout 76
To create Plastic, you must find certain junk items that produce Plastic when scrapped. Plastic is one of the most frequently used materials to make junk items in Appalachia, so it’s not too tricky to get your hands on it. The most important keyword to look for when searching for junk items is “plastic” in the name like Plastic Pumpkin, Plastic Plate, or Plastic Knife. Other common items that create Plastic when scrapped are live preservers, brooms, and pool balls.
A helpful tip for completing the 20 Plastic challenge in Fallout 76 is to create bulk ceramic at the Tinker Workbench in your CAMP and then scrap it. This trick will count towards the challenge, even if you use materials you had before the event started.
Where to Farm Plastic in Fallout 76
The two best locations to farm Plastic in Fallout 76 are Morgantown High School’s gymnasium and Watoga High School’s cafeteria. In Morgantown High School, you’ll find a bunch of plastic plates, pumpkins, bowling pins, and golf balls. If you still need more, there are lots of plastic knives, spoons, forks, and plates at Watoga High School. If you farm each location, you should end up with over 200 pieces of Plastic after scrapping everything.
If other Vault Dwellers have picked over these two locations, then you can also find junk items that produce Plastic when junked at the following locations:
- Sugar Grove: You’ll want to collect packs and cartons of cigarettes to obtain Plastic.
- Whitespring Golf Club: Look for golf balls in the main club building and inside the surrounding sheds.
- Hemlock Holes: You’ll also want to collect more golf balls at this location.
- J. Schram’s House: You can get about 60 pieces of Plastic from junk items at this location.
That’s it. That’s where to find Plastic in Fallout 76. Check out our Fallout 76 hub for more guides like Where to Find Ceramic, another item you need to find to complete a challenge during Week 2 of the Spring Cleaning Challenge event.
