Season of Discovery is sending all classes on the hunt for chests, mobs, and more to uncover powerful Runes. If you’re running a Paladin, you’ll need to find a particular skeleton to get the Horn of Lordaeron. Here’s where to find and how to kill the Undying Laborer in WoW Classic: Season of Discovery.
Undying Laborer Location in WoW SoD
The Undying Laborer is an undead Elite Skeleton that level 14 and 15 players can take on. It’s not the easiest to find, though, since it’s constantly moving and there’s a long respawn time. You’ll find it patrolling the Westfall area, an Alliance territory neighboring Elwynn Forest and Duskwood. There are four locations where it’s guaranteed to show up:
- Sentinel Hill
- Saldean’s Farm
- Jangolode Mine
- Gold Coast Quarry
How to Kill the Undying Laborer
As hinted in its name, the Undying Laborer is, well, undying. You can try to fight it, but once it reaches 0 HP, it’ll begin resurrecting itself with an ability called Back to Work. This might lead you to believe it’s an impossible fight, but you just have to hit it with the right type of damage. While it’s building unholy energy to reanimate, use all spells and abilities that deal Holy damage. Smite and Exorcism work well here, and I recommend bringing a group of Priests and Paladins.
All Undying Laborer Drops
You’ll have a chance of looting a variety of items from the enemy once it’s down. Here’s a complete list:
- Libram of Blessings (Paladin)
- Scroll: KWYJIBO (Mage)
- Memory of a Devout champion (Priest)
- Bard’s Cloak
- Ice Cold Milk
- Red-speckled Mushroom
- Cadet Shield
- Crude Battle Axe
- Chunk of Flesh
- Heavy Hammer
How to Use the Libram of Blessings in SoD
If you’re playing a Paladin, you’ll need the Libram of Blessings to unlock your Horn of Lordaeron Chest Rune. After looting it, you’ll need to use the item by equipping it in your Relic slot and blessing five different players. Once you do, the new chest engraving is yours to keep.
The Horn of Lordaeron isn’t the best rune for all types of Paladins, though. It increases the Strength and Agility of your party members. But you’ll have to decide to use it in place of the Seal of Martyrdom, a chest engraving that gives you an increase of weapon damage and extra mana to your party. As we all know, mana is crucial in WoW Classic, so it’s a difficult choice. I recommend looking at your party comp and choosing the one that fits your needs. Rogues, Warriors, and Hunters will benefit from the Horn, whereas Mages, Warlocks, and Priests will need the mana boost.
