The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom A Launching Device puzzle is found in the Oromuwak Shrine. In it, you’ll need to find a way to get to the very top of the chamber, but there’s no easy path. Here’s our guide to help you solve the TotK Oromuwak Shrine A Launching Device puzzle.
Oromuwak Shrine A Launching Device Puzzle Solution in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Oromuwak Shrine Location
The Tears of the Kingdom Oromuwak Shrine can be found directly east of Rito Village in the region of Hebra. If you’re coming from Lookout Landing, then it’s along the road leading to the region’s capital.
If you’re already done with the Rito main quest, however, then you can just Ascend to the top of the rock formation in town, then glide to this location. Be forewarned that a lot of thorny vines surround it, so bring some Fire Fruit with you to burn them all.
TotK Oromuwak Shrine A Launching Device Puzzle Walkthrough
To complete The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom A Launching Device puzzle in Oromuwak Shrine, you’ll need to use Rockets. This kind of Zonai Device provides a massive boost to acceleration, though it also peters out and dies rather quickly.
First A Launching Device Puzzle Solution
For the first section, place a Rocket and align it with the ramp. Hitting it will cause it to zip straight to the bullseye target.
Second A Launching Device Puzzle Solution
For the second section of this TotK puzzle, you’ll notice several minecarts and Rockets, as well as a huge upper area that we need to clear. Here’s what I did for this part:
- I lined up the cart so it’s facing the rails directly ahead.
- I attached two Rockets in front of the cart, pointing upward diagonally.
- Once I hit the cart, it flew all the way up, allowing me to clear the gap.
Your minecart should gain the necessary height, letting you glide to reach the chest, which contains a Ruby. Since you’re way up top, you could just glide to reach the altar for your Light of Blessing, as well.
