The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Dinraal materials come from a specific dragon that circles around the northeastern corner of the map. The biggest problem, however, is its burning aura that’s sure to deal a lot of damage if you’re unprepared. TotK Dinraal Location and Flight Path

When it comes to the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Dinraal Claw, Scale, Spike, and Fang items, we’ll need to pinpoint the dragon’s location first. Compared to the other majestic dragons in Tears of the Kingdom, I think Dinraal has the simplest flight path. It starts from the Sinatanika Shrine in Akkala before gliding north of Death Mountain in Eldin.

Eventually, it will head down into the Depths via the Chasm west of Typhlo Ruins Skyview Tower. It will also follow a somewhat linear path in the Depths until it reemerges in Akkala.

I suggest waiting for Dinraal near Sinatanika Shrine or the slopes of Death Mountain, where Dinraal will be easier to reach. However, its aura will scorch Link constantly, even with heat resistance gear. As such, your best bet is to equip Flame Guard items, such as the Vah Rudania Divine Helm.

How to Get Dinraal Scale and Spike

The TotK Dinraal Scales and Spikes are found on the back of the creature. You can pick up the Spikes as these are just crystals protruding from its back. For Scales, though, you’ll need to hit the dragon’s body. This is a rare drop, so you’ll have to wait for another Bloodmoon cycle before you can get another one.

How to Get Dinraal Claw and Fang

The Dinraal Claws and Fangs, meanwhile, require you to shoot specific body parts while gliding in mid-air. You can use the updrafts to help you with this. Likewise, aiming with your bow while in mid-air causes time to slow down. You can get the fang by shooting its mouth while it’s open and the claw by hitting its feet. The claw item itself is needed for the Goddess Statue of Power side quest.
