It is possible to find out the location of the pocket watch by hiding in the closet and letting your wife uncover its hiding place. But then you need to start the loop all over again, and you also need to figure out how to get it on your own.

The easiest way to find the pocket watch is to do the following:

1. Move towards the stove and the sink in the apartment (to your right)
2. Pick up the kitchen knife
3. Enter the bathroom
4. Open the medicine cabinet (to your left)
5. Hover over the bottom part of the screen to detect the grid
6. Select the knife from the inventory
7. Use the knife on the grid
8. Once the grid is unlocked, hover the mouse over the dark area
9. Once you spot the Object, click on it

This unknown object will be revealed as the pocket watch. There is a short monologue explaining what it is, but once again, the game doesn’t explain what to do with it.
