Since the composition of your armies is so important in Minecraft Legends, you may be wondering if you can despawn your army to switch Golem types. Considering each Golem has different strengths, weaknesses, and uses, different tasks call for different units. Here’s what you need to know.
Can Armies Be Removed or Replaced in Minecraft Legends?
Currently, there isn’t a reliable way to despawn your army manually in MC Legends. There were a few times that logging out of MC Legends and logging back in removed armies, but the method was unpredictable, and it’s unclear whether despawning was related to a bug or not.
Not being able to replace the armies manually can be inconvenient. Once you have the maximum number of units spawned, you can’t consistently switch one type of Golem out for another.
Instead, the only tried and true method is letting your units die to replace them. You’ll have to be strategic using this technique so you’re not overrun, and you’ll need to get rid of any Mossy Golem healers you may have to speed up the process.
The ability to increase the number of units in your army helps mitigate this issue somewhat, allowing you to add different Golem types for killing Piglins, destroying structures, or healing your spawned units. However, it’s not an ideal process since knowing what compositions you’ll need isn’t always clear ahead of time.
For now, that answers the question as to whether you can despawn armies in Minecraft Legends. If new methods become available or are added to Mojang’s action strategy game, we’ll update this guide with that information. Until then, consider heading over to our MC Legends guides hub for more tips and tricks, such as how to get around the connecting to your account error.
