Welcome to Grand Theft Auto IV. A game where driving, guns, and crime is all a good way to have some fun. What is the American dream for you? Action movies? Or a rise to power?

With an exquisite multiplayer, a hardcore single player in the life of Niko Bellic, as well as an amazing storyline filled with strippers, girlfriends, killing, money, guns, and so much more. 

Grand Theft Auto IV follows a man named Niko Bellic, a veteran of an unnamed war in Eastern Europe, who is haunted by the betrayal of his 15 man army unit. Ten years later, after a smuggling run is screwed up, due to a betrayal from a friend, Niko leaves eastern Europe to escape the anger of his boss, Ray Bulgarian. Six months later Niko is in the merchant navy (serving aboard a cargo ship), and believing the stories of his cousin Roman Bellic, Niko comes to Liberty City to pursue the American dream, as well as searching for the traitor of his unit. After he arrives,  Niko learns that Roman’s expansive tales of luxury and riches were lies hiding issues with Roman’s old gambling debts and loan sharks, and that Roman lives in a dirty apartment rather than a mansion.

There are highly paced car chases, some nudity (in The Lost and The Damned DLC Content), and a HELL of a lot of fun. This game is good for gamers of all backgrounds (when bought legally) who can at least be somewhat responsible, and not be idiotically inspired by the hardcore action of the game.

There is so much more I could say but, as to not overdo it on the content, let’s get down to what you are here about.

Specs:

Graphics: For its time, these graphics were a little behind. But there are barely any loading screens. Like… EVER. Which just goes to show how smoothly this game was designed. I gave it a 10 out of 10.

Audio: Very authentic, and very real coming from my very over-sized stereo system. I love the way the cats sound as well as the guns, and bikes. Very well done. 10 out of 10.

Playability: While at first, you might not get into the controls very easily, after a few minutes the controls become second nature (Really bad if you play Call Of Duty). 10 out of 10.

Replay Value: I’ve already beaten the game so many times. I still want to get back to GTA IV. 10 out of 10.

Overall: Overall, this game was unique, ahead of its time, and a hell-raiser in the parenting community. I give it a solid 10 out of 10 rating, and won’t ever take it back.
