If you played any flash games in the early to mid 2000s, then the chances are you played N, a precision-based and very fast paced 2D platformer game. If you ever checked out the selection of games in the Xbox Live Arcade, then there’s another pretty good chance that you played its sequel, N+ in 2008, giving more of the amazing platforming, with much more content.
Now, 7 years later, the sequel to N+ has finally arrived on the PS4.
N++ offers even more of the high-octane platforming fun that fans of the series would expect from a sequel. Made by Metanet Software Inc. the original creators of N, the game is basically more of the same, which is by no means a bad thing. And by more of the same, I mean it, as the game comes with 2,360 levels for you to play through, and a level editor letting players create the levels of their dreams.
This is set to be the last game in the N series, so they’re making sure that it takes a very long time for everyone to be done with it.
N++ continues the series’ tradition of blending platforming with well-timed physics manoeuvres and many obstacles set to kill your ninja and stop them from making it to the exit. If you were ever a fan of the series, and want more of it to play, then N++ is the ideal game for you, and will provide you with hours and hours of enjoyment as you try to get through the increasingly difficult levels.
N++ is out now on the PS4 for $20 as part of the PlayStation Play 2015 promotion.
