The Deer God (Xbox One) Review

Some games are masochistic. The Deer God just flat out hates you for existing.
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

The Deer God’s pitch is that it will “challenge your religion and your platforming skills.” Instead of doing either such thing, it merely challenges your patience. It’s rare that a game has so much contempt for its audience, and is almost stunning in its sheer bitterness. You haven’t played a game as difficult for the sake of difficulty as The Deer God.
